I wasn’t satisfied with this price so I then began searching for the ingredients. The herbal metabolizers can be found for $99-$130. The bars are Proti brand and can be purchased from for $10.90 per box instead of $16, but my guess is any low carb low sugar protein bar would do the job. I googled “herbal metabolizers” and “carb blockers” and found that slim4life and slimgenics both are distributors of the supplements and snacks, but everything is made by other companies. But it is expensive! So, I began researching similar supplements, that would be more affordable. I want to continue doing slim4life until I reach my goal weight of 150 lbs. Then you go back to business as usual and drink anywhere from 80 to 100 oz. Of water, day two drink 88 oz., day three drink 96 oz. This means you eat according to your normal plan, on day one drink exactly 80 oz. She said you deal with going off your plan by omitting one fruit and one starch serving from your diet for the next two days, then you do a water flush for the next 3 days. Cheese! Pork! Carbs! Fat! And so much sodium! So I drank a ton of water, went for a 3.5 mile walk even though it was 90 degrees, and emailed my counselor to ask what I should do. So I felt bad about it, started panicking about what kind of damage that would do. Then my friend came over to watch my son while I worked and I came home from work stressed and starving and she had ordered pizza… Needless to say, I indulged. Up until Thursday night I had followed the plan pretty much precisely. My current weight is 209.6! I know I lost just over 4 pounds this week. (not including 3 day prep) my starting weight was over 220. I have been doing slim4life for 2 weeks now.
